The whole closet was painted pure white Sherwin Williams #7005 and the stair treads were painted grey using front porch Sherwin Williams #7651. For the risers I googled ‘close out wallpaper’ and found this classic damask double roll for $20 which was just the right amount for my project.
*spoiler alert I’ve been saving my left over wallpaper from all my projects so eventually I can do a staircase with each riser a different print.
How do I know I am destined to do this?
While in Japan earlier this year I came across an amazing origami shop with a set of hidden wallpaper steps. It felt like the universe was speaking to me in the language of beauty and design.
