Our bathroom remodel at 2525, it started out as a half bath with a weird storage space. In order to create more value we decided to add a walk in shower where the storage space was. The space we had to work with was 32 inches deep by 42 across which was just enough to squeeze in a shower.

In order to maximize this tiny space we created a small niche for shampoo and soap.

Luckily it was an old house with tall ceilings and the room had a large window, so in felt a bit spacious.

Also the original pocket door functioned and made all the difference in maximizing space as the door didn’t have to open in or out.

Because the room was so small we carried over the colors from the adjacent room. We used Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black in SW 6258 for the trim and my go-to gray Sherwin-Williams Agreeable Gray SW 7029 for the walls.

We did vertical faux wood plank tile 6” X 24” on the shower walls with a flat stone pebble mosaic tile on the shower floor. The existing toilet and sink was in good condition and stayed in their original location. The fixtures were updated with an oil-rubbed bronze for the sink and shower.

Our bathroom remodel was coming together nicely. Finally, it was time to accessorize!.The large chunky shelf and cornices was found at our local ReStore and painted in Tricorn Black. We accessorized this space with Project 62 items from Target, including this handsome gold and stone set of hooks and matching mirror shelf/ towel bar. The towels and small succulents are from Target too. The wire baskets on top shelf will soon be available in our store.
